PROPERTY REPORT

The residence known as Blackmore House has stood empty for 10 years, 7 months, and 14 days. In that entire span there are no records of anyone entering — no owners, no trespassers, no utility crews. The property was sealed and forgotten.

And yet, on multiple nights, the lights were seen on. Neighbors reported a soft glow in the upstairs windows, always in the small hours, always going dark before anyone could reach the door. The power to the house was cut a decade ago. There is no explanation for the light.

INCONSISTENCIES

• The house is sealed and powerless — but the lights turn on, and always at 03:17.
• The date stone on the gate reads 197█. The house is listed as newer than that.
• Residents who report the “strange sounds” all describe the same thing: not a voice. A feeling of being listened for.

Reports of strange light coming from Blackmore House late at night. Locals claim the lights flicker around 03:00 AM. A team of three went in to investigate the source. Power records were pulled beforehand — the grid was stable throughout the night. The flicker was not electrical.

We kept asking what it is. That was the wrong question. What matters is what it does. It cannot see. It cannot hear. But it feels the two things the living cannot stop making — light, and sound. Make neither and you do not exist to it. Make either, and it is already walking to you.

The flicker in the windows was never a fault. It was the house doing what we do when we look for something in the dark. The light was it, searching. And on the night of the incident, it found three people who came in carrying their own.

EVIDENCE 03-A · CAM 04 (RECONSTRUCTED)

The fourth shape is not against the wall. It is behind one of the three. And that investigator never once turned around.

WHAT WE CONFIRMED

• Three entered. The frame shows four. None came out.
• And yet this report exists. Someone on the team kept writing after the feed died — and never left the house to file it.
• The handwriting changes halfway down the last page. One of the three is still recording. The others stopped.
• The fourth shape did not follow them in. It was already inside — and it did not get in alone. Someone made it easy. Someone always does.
• Every recovered timestamp resets to 03:17. The feed does not end. It starts over.

Nobody is chosen to help it. It’s simply whoever has been in the house the longest — whoever has looped the most. Look at the initials that keep signing these reports: R.██████. That name was a survivor of the very first investigation. They didn’t escape. They just kept coming back until they became part of the file. One day the newest three will read a report signed by someone who used to be one of them.
